Softball Recap: Chamblee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Arabia Mountain on Tuesday, Chamblee came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Milton Eagles on Wednesday, falling 10-2. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Chamblee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annabelle Ritchey, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Ritchey has hit this season.

Chamblee now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Milton, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Coming up, Chamblee is taking a road trip to challenge Dunwoody at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Milton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Johns Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
