Baseball Recap: Mt. Zion Bulldogs vs. Hampton Hornets

Mt. Zion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 19-0 walloping at the hands of the Hampton Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mt. Zion of the 17-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Monday.

For Hampton's part, Leo Vivaldi Garcia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Vivaldi Garcia was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.

As for Hampton, they will head out on the road to square off against Luella at 5:55 p.m. on Friday. Hampton is facing Luella at the right time seeing as Luella is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
