It was a good run, but Gabrielino unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rosemead Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-25 back in January.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava Yamashita, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Kimiko Nagata, who earned five points and seven assists.

Gabrielino's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-10. As for Rosemead, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-6.

As of now, neither Gabrielino nor Rosemead have any future games scheduled.
