Baseball Recap: Brown County Takes a Loss

Brown County's last matchup with Cloverdale could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Eagles lost 9-2 to the Clovers. The Eagles have struggled against the Clovers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Barrett Lasley made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with five stolen bases and one run.

Brown County's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Cloverdale, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.

Coming up, Brown County will welcome Rock Creek Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cloverdale, they will challenge Clay City at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
