Rio Rico is 8-2 against Douglas since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Rio Rico Hawks will head out to face off against the Douglas Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 85-56, which was the final score in Douglas' tilt against Thatcher on Wednesday.

Rio Rico's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Douglas, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Rio Rico lost to Douglas on the road by a decisive 55-37 margin in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Rio Rico avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
