Softball Recap: Wayne County Takes a Loss

Wayne County was the 5-3 winner over South Effingham when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellow Jackets took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs on Thursday.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South Effingham, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Wayne County will head out on the road to square off against Citizens Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Effingham, they will square off against Pierce County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
