Basketball Recap: Valhalla Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Valhalla can now relate to. They had to suffer through an 83-34 loss at the hands of the Escondido Charter Tigers. The Norsemen were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-21.

Valhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Escondido Charter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Valhalla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Escondido Charter, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers face off against the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Escondido Charter knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Hoover likes a good challenge.
