Basketball Recap: North Penn Comes Up Short

If North Penn was riding high fresh off their 53-32 takedown of Central Bucks West on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Penn Knights took a blow against the Upper Dublin Cardinals on Saturday, falling 58-26. The match marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North Penn now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Upper Dublin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Penn will be home for the holidays to greet Central Bucks South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Dublin will take on Abington in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Upper Dublin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Abington likes a good challenge.
