Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tiftarea Academy). They blew past the Wilcox County Patriots 13-5 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Patriots last Thursday, they had to take a 17-12 loss.

Tiftarea Academy's record is now 7-10. As for Wilcox County, they moved to 15-5 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tiftarea Academy will take on Deerfield-Windsor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wilcox County, they will face off against Lee County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
