Football Recap: Alburnett Takes a Loss

Alburnett was the 38-27 winner over Bellevue when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 33-28 to the Comets on Friday.

Alburnett's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Bellevue, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Alburnett is set to take on their familiar foe Monticello at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bellevue will square off against rival Tipton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
