Softball Recap: Sterling Comes Up Short

Sterling was the 7-4 winner over Comanche when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians on Thursday. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sterling has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Comanche, they pushed their record up to 7-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sterling will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rush Springs at 4:30 p.m. on the 18th. As for Comanche, they will square off against Davis at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
