Baseball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Buford Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 9-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Mountain View saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Forbes, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. Forbes also put up a hit, which was his first of the season.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Buford, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

While Mountain View had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
