After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Social Circle, Lamar County was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Upson-Lee Knights, sneaking past 4-3. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lamar County is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Upson-Lee, they dropped their record down to 4-21 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lamar County will head out to square off against Towers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.57 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Upson-Lee, they will square off against LaGrange at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
