Baseball Recap: Centaurus Warriors vs. Longmont Trojans

Centaurus had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 7-10 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Longmont Trojans with a sharp 7-1 win. With that victory, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Liam Sweeney tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
