Middletown is 10-0 against St. Helena since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Middletown Mustangs will host the St. Helena Saints at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Middletown's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while St. Helena has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Wednesday, Middletown was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-48 to Fort Bragg. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mustangs came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 299th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 637th).

Meanwhile, St. Helena didn't have quite enough to beat Lower Lake on Wednesday and fell 37-35.

Middletown's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-6. As for St. Helena, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Middletown was able to grind out a solid win over St. Helena when the teams last played back in January, winning 39-29. Does Middletown have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Helena turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
