Spring Valley faced Green Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Grizzlies came out on top in a nail-biter against the Gators, sneaking past 2-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win on Saturday.

Lilia Kahalepo paced Spring Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Kahalepo got some help from Mackenzie Means and her 13 assists. Amany Kuwa controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Spring Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Green Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 22-11.
