The Green Valley Gators volleyball squad (Henderson, NV), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV)

With the win, Spring Valley improves its record to 13-9 on the season. The Grizzlies host Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV) to encounter the Diamondbacks in a 4A Southern - Mountain challenge on Monday, September 29. The Diamondbacks go into the test with a record of 11-20. Desert Oasis won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Valley (Las Vegas, NV)

The Gators now own a 22-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Silverado for a 4A Southern - Lake test on Monday, September 29. Green Valley will face a Skyhawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA). The Skyhawks record now stands at 10-11.
