Softball Recap: Griswold Takes a Loss

Griswold fell victim to West Monona and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the Spartans. The match marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Griswold's defeat dropped their record down to 24-7. As for West Monona, the win (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 28-6.

Griswold does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Monona, they will face off against Treynor on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Spartans 2.9, the Cardinals 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
