Softball Recap: South Effingham Finds Playoff Glory Versus Veterans

South Effingham extended their postseason success on Saturday against Veterans. They came out on top against the Warhawks by a score of 8-5. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Danni Lynn, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Taylor Swann was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.

South Effingham's victory bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Veterans, their defeat dropped their record down to 30-8.

South Effingham wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-3 loss against Creekview on the 1st. Veterans does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
