Soccer Recap: Richmond Comes Up Short

Richmond lost against Pinole Valley back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Richmond Oilers lost 4-0 to the Pinole Valley Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the Oilers have lost by exactly four goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Richmond and nudges their season record down to 4-10-1. As for Pinole Valley, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-7-1 record.

Richmond has already played their next game, an 8-1 defeat against Albany on the 30th. As for Pinole Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against De Anza on the 30th.
