Softball Recap: Inola's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Gibson, Inola was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Booker T. Washington Hornets by a score of 9-4.

Inola's victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Booker T. Washington, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inola will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Checotah at 5:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Booker T. Washington, they will head out to face off against Beggs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Demons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
