Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Eric Perry stepped things up a notch to give DeSoto Central the 'W'. Perry threw for 247 yards and one TD while completing 80% of his passes, which was good enough to set a new career-high in passing yards.

Looking ahead, Perry and DeSoto Central will challenge Tupelo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Perry has dominated as far as rushing yards are concerned (he's averaged 111.3 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Golden Wave have only allowed 69.3 per game this season.
