Soccer Game Preview: Johansen vs. Grace Davis

The Johansen Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Grace Davis Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Johansen barely beat Livingston the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Vikings blew past Wolves 3-0 on Tuesday. The matchup was close at halftime, but Johansen turned on the heat in the second half with two goals.

Meanwhile, Grace Davis beat Pacheco 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Grace Davis in their matchups with Pacheco: they've now won four in a row.

The win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 2-10-3. As for Johansen, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-2.

Johansen skirted past Grace Davis 1-0 when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
