Soccer Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

After soaring to nine goals the game before, MacArthur was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lincoln Railsplitters, falling 10-1. MacArthur were not able to make up for their defeat to Lincoln from their previous meeting back in September of 2019.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 7-9-2. As for Lincoln, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-13.

MacArthur wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 defeat against Glenwood on the 2nd. As for Lincoln, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Richland County on the 3rd.
