Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Capistrano Valley Christian). They never let the Legacy College Prep Lions onto the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Friday. It was an even better day for Ila Allred as she scored six goals for her team.

Capistrano Valley Christian used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Legacy College Prep. Shiloh Klein played for 60 minutes having averaged 31.2 this season and Brooke Ziegelmier got 60 vs. an average of 30. Klein made the most of the opportunity, scoring two goals A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

The win was the third in a row for Capistrano Valley Christian, bringing their record for this year to 4-4-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Legacy College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Legacy College Prep is facing Calvary Chapel at the right time seeing as Calvary Chapel is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
