Soccer Game Preview: St. Andrew's vs. Battery Creek

The St. Andrew's Lions will square off against the Battery Creek Dolphins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

St. Andrew's is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Windsor Forest on Thursday. The Lions fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. St. Andrew's haven't had much luck with Windsor Forest recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Battery Creek fell victim to Oceanside Collegiate Academy and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Landsharks, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Battery Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while Oceanside Collegiate Academy are ranked sixth).

St. Andrew's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Battery Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1.
