Preview: Kennedy vs. Waconia
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Waconia. They are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Kennedy on Friday at 7:00 PM. Waconia will be hoping to build upon the 57-7 win they picked up against Kennedy the last time they played.
Waconia took their matchup against Hopkins last Friday by a conclusive 35-13 score. The success made it back-to-back wins for Waconia.
Meanwhile, Kennedy suffered a grim 14-38 defeat to Chaska. This makes it the second loss in a row for Kennedy.
Waconia's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Kennedy's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Waconia can add another positive mark to their record or if Kennedy can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Waconia's step.
