Baseball Recap: Maple River Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Maple River was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Giants this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in April.

Maple River's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Le Sueur-Henderson, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Maple River nor Le Sueur-Henderson have any future games scheduled.
