After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grandview Prep, Martin County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They really took it to the South Fork Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up an 85-13 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Martin County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Katelyn Pire, who posted 32 points in addition to five assists and three steals. With that strong performance, Pire is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Karolina Ramirez, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine steals.

Pire wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Martin County was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Fork only posted two assists.

Martin County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for South Fork, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18.
