Versailles came out on top against Milton-Union on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Tigers never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Tigers have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Versailles and bumps their season record up to 18-9. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Milton-Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.

Versailles will take on Carlisle in a tournament on Tuesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Milton-Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
