Northside came tearing into Saturday's match with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Villa Rica Wildcats by a score of 7-4.

Kennedy Williams was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Addie Renner was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Northside lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now launched at least two home runs in three consecutive games.

Northside's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Villa Rica, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

Northside and Villa Rica should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Patriots (ranked 12th) will meet Jonesboro (ranked 243rd) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Villa Rica will face off against South Paulding at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (88 vs. 207).
