Softball Recap: Knoxville Comes Up Short

Knoxville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Pella Christian Eagles. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

Knoxville's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Pella Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-11.

Knoxville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-6 defeat against Centerville on the 20th. As for Pella Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-2 win against Des Moines Christian on the 20th.
