Saint Mary is 10-0 against De Anza since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Saint Mary's Panthers will look to defend their home pitch against the De Anza Dons at 3:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Saint Mary's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while De Anza has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Last Thursday, Saint Mary's narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Pinole Valley 2-1. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 304th, while the Spartans are ranked 650th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for De Anza's offense. They fell just short of Bethel by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Saint Mary's has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five games. As for De Anza, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Saint Mary's took their victory against De Anza when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. Will Saint Mary's repeat their success, or does De Anza have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
