Basketball Game Preview: San Marino Titans vs. South Pasadena Tigers

San Marino hasn't had much luck against South Pasadena recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The San Marino Titans will host the South Pasadena Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, San Marino came up short against Temple City and fell 44-34.

South Pasadena has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to Saugus on the road by a 51-32 margin on Monday. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

San Marino's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for South Pasadena, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

San Marino took a serious blow against South Pasadena in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 64-22. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point San Marino was down 39-6.
