Softball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton fell victim to Pleasant Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 17-0. The River Kings haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Pleasant Valley, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Spartans beat Clinton by a score of 21-0 later that day.
