The Parkview Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Bolles Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Parkview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
Parkview can't be too worried about heading out to take on Bolles: they just beat North Gwinnett at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Panthers came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 7-3 on Friday.

Porter Berryman tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mason Davis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Malachi Washington, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Bolles had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Marauders.
Bolles let Gabe Gonzalez and Denzel Del Valle Delgado run wild. Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI, while Del Valle Delgado went 1-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Jackson Geist was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
Parkview's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Bolles, their record is now 15-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Parkview has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bolles struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Parkview beat Bolles 8-5 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
