Basketball Recap: Tehachapi Skates Past North with Ease

Tehachapi won against East Bakersfield last Wednesday with 70 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Tehachapi Warriors claimed a resounding 70-23 victory over the North Stars. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 23 points or more this season.

Leading Tehachapi to victory were Jamie Neaderbaomer and Koree Rodden. Neaderbaomer went 12 for 25 en route to 30 points in addition to seven boards and six assists, while Rodden dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten assists. That's the most rebounds Neaderbaomer has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Christy, who posted eight points.

Tehachapi smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

Tehachapi's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Tehachapi has already played their next game, a 65-25 victory against West on the 15th. As for North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 25-24 win against East Bakersfield on the 15th.
