While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 344th, while the Lobos are ranked 18th).

Despite the loss, Naaman Forest still got an impressive performance from DeAngelo Perales, who rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 262 yards and a touchdown. A healthy portion of that aerial production (89 yards to be exact) went to Braylon Deal.

Naaman Forest didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Troy Williams, Brody Perales, and Deal picked up one apiece.

Naaman Forest's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6. As for Longview, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Naaman Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Longview, they will venture away from home to take on Lancaster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
