Basketball Recap: Dover Takes a Loss

Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 56-23 defeat at the hands of the West York Area Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 578th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 214th).

Dover's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for West York Area, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dover will head out to challenge Eastern York at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West York Area, they are taking a road trip to face off against York Suburban at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
