Soccer Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

If Marion was riding high fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Independence last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Wolves fell just short of the Pleasant Valley Spartans by a score of 1-0 on Monday. While losing is never fun, Marion can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Pleasant Valley are ranked ninth).
