Carlisle faced A-D-M in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-2. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 22-8. As for A-D-M, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 21-6.

Carlisle has already played their next contest (against Carroll), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for A-D-M, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against Gilbert on the 30th.
