Baseball Recap: Bremen Takes a Loss

After flying high against Darlington last Wednesday, Bremen came back down to earth. The Bremen Blue Devils fell just short of the Darlington Tigers by a score of 8-7 on Friday. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 15-0.

Aiden Price made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base. Another player making a difference was Dylan Huey, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3.

Bremen's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Darlington, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bremen will host Model at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Darlington, they will be playing at home against Pepperell at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
