After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brookwood, Valwood was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Georgia Christian Generals. That looming 9-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Valwood yet this season.

Their offense was hitting Georgia Christian from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Will Trickett led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Valwood's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Georgia Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Valwood will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Frederica Academy on the 17th. As for Georgia Christian, they will take on Augusta Prep Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
