Millard North came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Kearney Bearcats 17-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-1 back in August.

Macey Jarose was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abby Beard, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Millard North lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now launched at least four home runs in three consecutive matchups.

Millard North's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Kearney, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-7 record this season.

Millard North wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-5 defeat against Millard West on the 20th. As for Kearney, they have also already played their next matchup, a 16-6 win against Lincoln Southeast on the 19th.
