Volleyball Recap: Alcester-Hudson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Menno on Tuesday, Alcester-Hudson came back down to earth. The Cubs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Mary Cardinals on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cubs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 16-25, 25-10, 25-10.

Alcester-Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for St. Mary, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Alcester-Hudson will be playing in front of their home fans against Scotland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary, they will venture away from home to take on Oldham-Ramona/R at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
