Basketball Recap: Union City Skates Past Gracemont with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Southwest Covenant, Union City was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 77-19 win over the Gracemont Lions. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their 30-point performance the contest before.

Union City's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Gracemont, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Union City will venture away from home to square off against Hinton at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gracemont, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Gracemont Lions take on the Taloga Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
