Basketball Recap: Malibu Sharks vs. Magnolia Science Academy 5 Lobos
Malibu gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They claimed a resounding 43-0 win over the Magnolia Science Academy 5 Lobos. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Sharks also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Malibu had a senior duo take command as Casey Ovsiowitz scored 20 points and Sailor Graham earned 14 points. Ovsiowitz's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.
Malibu is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Magnolia Science Academy 5, they will challenge Animo Robinson at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Magnolia Science Academy 5 will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
