O'Neill fell victim to Wayne and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Blue Devils. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Blue Devils: they've now lost six in a row.

Rylee Selby spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

O'Neill's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wayne, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.
