Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Johnson County Central faced off against Freeman on Friday. The Thunderbirds were the clear victors by a 44-22 margin over the Falcons. The Thunderbirds haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Omaha Christian better keep an eye on Wes Swanson. He was instrumental in Johnson County Central's win, throwing for 92 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 33 yards and one score. A.J. Rautenbach also helped with two TDs in total.
