Softball Recap: Camden County Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Long County, Camden County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Ware County Gators 9-8. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Gators recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Camden County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Ware County, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Camden County will be taking part in a tournament against Citizens Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ware County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bainbridge at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Bearcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.75 runs per game on average), something the Gators will no doubt try to take advantage of.
